What we store
- Account username, optional email, and password hash
- Your gardens, beds, plantings, and related planning notes
- Web push subscription endpoints if you enable Garden Alerts
- A signup source tag (from
?src=, or the referrer as a fallback) so we can count beta sign-ups by channel - Operational event logs needed to run the beta (for example sign-up and garden creation)
Why
To provide the private garden planner, season tools, optional push alerts, and to understand which public pages bring household beta users.
Retention
Account and garden data stay while your account is active. Push subscriptions are removed when you unsubscribe or the endpoint fails. Source tags stay with the account for beta analytics.
Deletion
You can request deletion of your account and garden data. Write to info@tarktoit.ee and we will remove or anonymise personal data from the live service.
Processor and hosting
The service runs on Hetzner infrastructure in Germany/Finland. We do not sell your data.
Ads and trackers
No ads. No third-party analytics or advertising trackers on TarkToit pages.
